CTO
Speed without lock-in.
You own speed, cost, and risk. Primebrick is MIT-licensed, inspectable, deployable anywhere, and ships with the security and compliance features your auditors will ask for — without a platform team to build and maintain them. You get the velocity of a startup with the posture of an enterprise.
What changes for you
Ship faster without a platform team
Auth, RBAC, multi-tenancy, observability and compliance scanning are already built. Your product team ships features from day one, not infrastructure. No need to hire a dedicated platform team before you can ship product.
De-risk vendor choices
MIT-licensed open source. Public code, documented decisions, and no per-seat or per-request fees. You can audit, modify, and host it yourself. If the project disappears tomorrow, you still have the code and the right to use it.
Pass audits with generated reports
Security, accessibility and compliance posture reports are generated from real scan data, not self-assessment spreadsheets. Hand the PDF to your auditor and point to the file:line evidence. ISO 27001, NIS2, OWASP and VPAT accessibility reports all update on every build.
Scale from MVP to enterprise
Start with a single container on a laptop. Move to multi-instance, multi-region, or on-prem without changing application code. The same codebase runs at every stage of your company's growth. You never face a "we outgrew our framework" rewrite.
Own your data, own your IP
Self-host on your own infrastructure. No vendor has access to your data, your logs, or your customer information. Your IP stays yours — the MIT license explicitly allows commercial use, modification, and redistribution.
Hire for potential, not for internal framework knowledge
Onboarding in hours, not weeks, means you can hire for business knowledge and engineering judgment, not for "has memorized our internal framework." You expand the talent pool instead of narrowing it.
Budget predictability
No per-seat, no per-request, no surprise pricing. The MIT license means your cost is the infrastructure you choose to run it on, and that's it. As you scale from 10 users to 10,000, your license cost stays at zero.
Open source means the community fixes things
Public code, public issues, public ADRs. Security vulnerabilities are found and fixed in the open, not hidden behind a vendor's support ticket SLA. You benefit from every team that uses Primebrick before you.

Risk matrix
From code to auditor
Build
Developer commits code. CI runs lint, types, tests, and the compliance scanner.
Scan
Scanner maps ISO 27001, NIS2, OWASP controls to file:line evidence in the source.
Report
PDF generated with control text, evidence, status, and scan timestamp. Reproducible.
Audit
Forward the PDF. Auditor verifies evidence at file:line. No spreadsheet round-trip.
Capabilities you'll use
We stopped budgeting for a platform team and started budgeting for product. The compliance reports alone saved us a quarter of consultant time. The MIT license means I never have to have the "what if they raise prices" conversation with my board.
CTO FAQ
How does the MIT license affect our IP?
The MIT license applies to the Primebrick framework itself, not to the code you write on top of it. Your product code, your entities, your business logic — that's your IP, under whatever license you choose. The MIT license just says you can use, modify, and distribute Primebrick freely, including in commercial products.
What if Primebrick the project disappears?
You still have the code. The MIT license is irrevocable — once it's published under MIT, it stays MIT. If the maintainers stop working on it, you can fork it, maintain it yourself, or hire someone to maintain it. The code it generated for your app still runs.
How do you handle accessibility compliance?
Primebrick ships with a VPAT and the admin UI is built to WCAG 2.1 AA. The compliance scanner checks for common accessibility issues in the generated components. You get the VPAT as a PDF, ready to hand to procurement or legal.
Can we get a support contract, or is it community-only?
The framework is community-supported via GitHub issues. Commercial support, training, and implementation help are available — contact us for details. The code itself is fully open and inspectable, so your team can debug and fix issues independently.
How does this compare to buying a proprietary admin panel SaaS?
Proprietary admin SaaS is faster to start but slower to customize, and it comes with per-seat pricing ($10–$100 / month / user), data residency concerns, and vendor lock-in. At 100 users that's $12k–$120k / year in license fees alone. Primebrick takes a day to set up instead of an hour, but after that day you own the code, you host it where you want, you pay $0 in license fees, and you can customize anything.
