Export CTA
The Export button generates real XLSX or CSV files server-side — not client-side fakes. Two formats available: Excel (.xlsx) and CSV (.csv).
Export dialog
Warning-bordered dialog with choicebox scope selection. Export selected rows or the entire dataset to XLSX or CSV.
Scope selection
Choicebox: export only selected rows or all items (with current filters applied).
RBAC-aware
Users can always export their selection. Exporting all items requires RBAC permission — the option is disabled if the user lacks the role.
Real file formats
XLSX is a real Microsoft® OpenXML document — not a fake file readable from Excel™. CSV is RFC 4180 compliant. Both are generated server-side with your filters, sorts, and selections applied.
Visual export, not data export
HTML and PDF are visual exports — meant for previewing selected records, not bulk data extraction. Use XLSX/CSV for full dataset exports.
